    • SWORD 1:72 (SW72150) RF-8G Photo-Recon Crusader over Vietnam

    The Vought F-8 Crusader is a single-engine, carrier-based air superiority jet aircraft with the title "The Last of the Gunfighters". First flown in 1955, the Crusader saw action during the Cuban Missile Crisis and the Vietnam War, and served the US Navy and US Marines Corp till early 1987. The RF-8G is the modernised variant of the RF-8A(F8U-1P) Photo-Reconnaissance Crusader.

    The Sword 1/72 RF-8G Photo-Recon Crusader, is the first ever plastic-injection kit released, albeit being limited run. No other mainstream kit makers have released this specific variant to date so this is a very welcome gesture by Sword Models!
